You will be led by one of our experienced local cycling guides. For groups with fewer than 5 participants, we will have one English-speaking cycling guide and a driver. For larger groups (6 or more), we’ll provide a Cycling Tour Leader, an additional English-speaking guide, and extra drivers and assistants.
Our guides are passionate about Cambodia’s culture, history, and religion, providing insightful commentary throughout your journey. Whether exploring remote villages or ancient temples, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of Southeast Asia firsthand.
We provide top-quality mountain bikes for all our cyclists. If you have your own bike, we recommend ensuring it’s fully serviced before the tour. Our guides carry a reliable toolkit and are skilled in basic bike repairs during the trip. However, some advanced repairs may require specialized tools.
A backup vehicle will accompany the group at all times, providing security and comfort. This vehicle will carry your luggage and offer a ride if you need assistance during the ride. It will stop roughly every 15 kilometers, ensuring that you can rest, hydrate, and enjoy the scenery.
Your safety is our top priority. Wearing a helmet is mandatory on all rides. If you choose not to wear a helmet, you won’t be permitted to cycle. All of our guides are trained in first aid and emergency rescue, but we encourage all cyclists to be mindful of their own safety during the ride.
The terrain is varied, mainly flat and follows by the mixture of tarmac roads, some hills and dirt roads passing the countryside & rural village. You will cycle on back roads with lovely open landscapes and leisurely with plenty of stops in every 15km to enjoy snack and drink or taking photos. Our guides can also easily accommodate any type riders, in case you would not be able to complete the distance you would be able to jump into the support vehicle.
The tour is designed to accommodate cyclists of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned riders. It’s not a race—everyone is encouraged to cycle at their own pace. While the route is physically demanding, you can always hop into the support vehicle if you need a break. We want everyone to enjoy the journey, not just the destination.
Since the tour involves moderate physical exertion, it’s important that you’re in good physical health. Please inform your guide of any pre-existing medical conditions before the trip, and if you feel unwell at any point, let the guide know immediately. Your safety and well-being are our priority.
We take hydration seriously. During the tour, we’ll provide cold water, locally sourced fruit, and soft drinks to keep you energized. Meals are not inclusive of soft drinks or alcoholic beverages, though beer is widely available at many stops throughout the journey. Beer is not included in the tour price.
Our tour includes most major expenses. We recommend bringing about US$30 for incidentals like souvenirs, additional drinks, or optional activities. Any extra activities or food outside the itinerary will be at your own cost.
Thailand: The Thai currency is the baht. ATMs, which are abundant, are the easiest ways to get Thai baht. Have a supply of US dollars in cash on hand, just in case your card doesn’t work. Banks or the rarer private moneychangers offer the best foreign-exchange rates. Credit cards are accepted in big cities and resort hotels but you’ll need baht for family-run guesthouses or restaurants.
Solo travelers are welcome on our tour! While our prices are based on twin-sharing accommodation, we will pair you with another solo traveler of the same gender. If you prefer a private room, this option is available at an additional cost.
Thailand: All nationalities require a passport for entry into Thailand. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the duration of your stay in the country. If staying less than 30 days then a visa in advance is not required by European, North American, Australian and many other nationalities. Please check this page to see if you qualify. You will need to show proof of an onward flight out of Thailand to be eligible for the visa on arrival. This is strictly enforced.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Ensure your policy covers personal injury, medical expenses, and cancellation. We recommend securing insurance as soon as you book your trip to ensure you’re covered in case of unexpected cancellations or emergencies.
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining 70% due 30 days before departure. Full payment is required for bookings made within one month of departure.
Upon booking, we will send a final tour confirmation with essential details, including flight information, visa advice, a packing list, and a comprehensive itinerary. You’ll also receive a checklist to ensure you’re fully prepared for your unforgettable adventure cycling.
